Weekend results through Sunday, May 19
Huntsville City
HV came into the weekend seeking their first win of the season. After a tough battle, they came up short against against ATL United 2, losing 2-3. They've added a few players to the roster over the past week, and maybe they can find a winning formula.
GCPL
Alabama FC South vs AFC Mobile
The first meeting between these in-state rivals. ALFC came into the game after earning a draw on the road in their previous match. Mobile entered the weekend looking for improvements on the back line. Weather played a huge role here, and the match could not continue after halftime. ALFC took the three points, and the 3-0 halftime score stood as the final.
Union 10 FC
Union 10 came into their home opener looking to build on a week 1 win. They ran into a tough Roots team, and dropped the points, 0-1. Information has been a bit hard to find, as that was the scoreline at halftime, and there weren't further updates. This may be a final after the game was shortened due to weather.
Other news and tidbits
Legion WFC
The ladies had a difficult turnaround, after playing Friday night. There were weather delays, a change of venue, and the match was shortened. Asheville City came out on top 3-0 on Saturday night.

Fountain City
The first game of the season, Fountain City drew 1-1 with Legion FC Dublin at home. Fountain City was looking for payback in the return game, and came away with a huge 8-0 win. Five different players scored, and Shytle racked up a hat trick. That puts his season at an incredible 13 goals in seven games. FC remains at the top of the table, undefeated.
Columbus United were on the road for the second week in a row, at New Orleans Jesters. This game did not disappoint. The score went back and forth, and ultimately ended in a 3-3 draw. This was a great result for Columbus against an extremely estsblished team, on the road.
