As the Fall regular season is about to end, all Lower Alabama teams appear to be safely into the playoffs.
FC Birmingham lost at home to Georgia Athletic SC. The final score was 0-1, and closes out the regular season. FCB is currently in 7th place.
FCB2 got a win at home against North Georgia United II, 1-0. They are also in 7th place, down in Division 1. They have one more game remaining in the regular season.
The Adjacency
Fountain City FC took a beating on the road. Kalonji Pro-Profile scored 6 goals, and also got the clean sheet. Fountain is still in playoff position, but finishes the regular season with a -11 goal differential.

FC Columbus Elite got a win on the road against Middle Georgia United. The game saw a whopping 11 goals scored, as Elite came out on top 7-4. With a win next week, Elite would move into a tie for first place in the division.
Columbus Knight Eagles traveled to face current first place Filial Pachuca Georgia. Filial took care of business, beating the Eagles 5-0. It was a tough loss to end the regular season.
Other news and tidbits
The Colorado Springs Switchbacks defeated Rhode Island FC to win this year's USL Championship trophy. It was a dominant performance by the home side, in front of a sellout crowd. Rhode Island had a remarkable run in their first season, but couldn't find a way through. The Switchbacks’ 3-0 win was the sixth straight time that a tram from the West came out on top.
