The table is set for a USL2 showdown

Huntsville lost 2-3, after completely dominating the run of play. The first half ended 0-0 despite several chances for Huntsville and a goal that was disallowed for offsides. Despite being under siege throught the half, Orlando got on the board first from a corner kick opportunity. HCFC's Christian Koffi quickly scored an equalizer, and then Huntsville took the lead in the 70th minute from a corner kick. Orlando didn't quit, and evened the score in the 84th minute. The game-winner came from a counterattack two minutes into stoppage time, and the visitors left with all three points.
USL2
The race in the South Central Divsion of USL2 is really heating up, and there's starting to be some separation in the table. On Wed night Tennessee SC temporarily regained the points lead (with 11) after a 2-0 win over East Atlanta. The Lower Alabama weekend games all had a huge impact on the table.
Columbus United 1-2 Legion 2. Columbus had a 1-0 lead at halftime, and stayed strong in the second half until a PK for Birmingham equalized. Just one minute later, Legion took the lead on a breakaway goal, and held on for the win. Legion retakes first place with 13 points.
SSA 0-5 Dothan United. SSA has been in tight games all season, including an impressive 0-1 loss to Asheville City last week. Dothan turned up the heat and dominated. The Dragons are in third place with 12 points (GD, PPM).
Asheville City 5-0 Montgomery United. Montgomery traveled to NC hoping to steal points, but Asheville City was too much for them. Asheville is in second place with 12 points and a game in hand.
Wednesday's upcoming match between Birmingham Legion 2 and Asheville City will see the top two teams in the Division (both undefeated) square off for the only time this season.
The League for Clubs
The first 251 Derby for 2025 went to Union 10, winning 4-1. AFC Mobile got on the board first from a penalty kick in the 20th minute. Union 10 equalized just before the half to go in at 1-1. The game was chippy, and Union 10 took the lead in the 61st minute and didn't look back.
UPSL
Feature match:
This week's feature had FC Birmingham away to face Dalton United. FCB has been on a slide, and has been fighting hard to avoid relegation. Saturday's 0-5 loss to Dalton has dashed their hopes, and they'll be headed down to Division 1 for the Fall season.

The Georgia South conference for UPSL Division 1 has finished their Spring season. The Lower Alabama teams had a tough go: Columbus Knight Eagles 7th place, UM2 8th place, and FC Birmingham 2 9th place out of ten teams.
