Lower Alabama Showdown

FC Birmingham is on the road to the Adjacency this week to face Fountain City, Sat Nov 9 at 6:00. Fountain City is looking to build on recent momentum, winning three games in a row, while FCB has been inconsistent. They are both in the middle of the table in 7th (Fountain) and 8th (FCB) places. At home, with Shytle getting back on track, I would expect Fountain City to take all three points.

FCB2 will be on the road to face Middle Georgia United, Sat Nov 9 at 5:00. These two teams sit together just below the middle of the table, with similar records. That being said, Middle GA has been in slightly better form recently than FCB2. Feels like the kind of game that ends up being a low-scoring draw.

The Adjacency

FC Columbus will face Filial Pachuca Georgia away Sat Nov 9 at 4:00. This will be a massive test for Elite. Pachuca is the top team in the division, scoring in bunches, while only giving up five goals this season. Yikes. Elite has the talent to cause trouble, and is in good form. They'll be looking to steal some points here, in what should be a good game.

Columbus Knight Eagles will also have a big task in front of them, as they travel to face Atlanta Ignite Sat Nov 9 at 3:30. Ignite is in second place behind Pachuca, and are the only team that's beaten Pachuca this season. That being said, if CKE manages a win, they'll be tied on points with Ignite. Both teams should be very motivated, and I would expect a close game.
