UPSL playoffs shaping up
Lower Alabama teams are in good positions overall

FC Birmingham and Fountain City are in 7th and 8th places respectively, and should have their playoff berths secured. Fountain is four points clear of the team immediately below them, and six points ahead of the 10th place team, who has a game in hand. The final games are this weekend for Fountain and FCB. Fountain can pass FCB if they win and Birmingham loses.

In Division 1, all three Lower Alabama teams appear to be secure for making the playoffs. The shakeout will be at the top of the table. FC Columbus Elite has a game in hand over both of the teams above them, and Limeno does as eell. Elite has the easier path to move up, facing two lower teams in remaining games. Limeno closes against Atlanta Ignite and then FC Birmingham 2.
