Brief Update

Huntsville City announced their slate of preseason friendlies, which includes a game against Birmingham Legion. It's not a closed event, so it's a welcome opportunity to see both teams in early action.
A couple of former Legion players have been signed to new clubs (most recent previous club in parentheses)
Gabriel Alves (Rhode Island FC) has signed with South Georgia Tormenta of USL1. It's a small step backward for Alves, where he should get more playing time. He also played for Tormenta's USL2 team during college.
Stefano Pinho (Legion) has signed with AA Aparecidense, a Brazilian fourth division side. Pinho is from Brazil, but I'm surprised he didn't stay in the US. He's a USLC and NASL veteran who scored 14 total goals for Legion last season.
